Recently, many passengers have faced long delays and considerable destruction during their flight journey at Washington's Reagon National Airport due to new safety restrictions for President Donald Trump's Marine One helicopter. According to the latest Washington report, the Federal Aviation Administration has claimed the new safety arrangements for when the president's helicopter is in the air, meeting a deadly collision between an Army Black Hawk and an American Airlines Jet over Washington DC last month. The new policy offers lifesaving medical support to active law enforcement, active air defense, or presidential helicopter missions. The policy should be reviewed once the NTSB completes its preliminary investigation. Airspace has closed with the federal government, which has strictly tightened the security and protection at the airport to prevent aircraft from crashing or landing near high-risk areas like the capital, the White House, and the National Mall.

Causes and Results of the Midair Crashes:

The news of the deadly midair collision over Washington, DC, has reignited concerns over air traffic congestion and safety risks at Washington's Reagan National Airport. It is a tight aviation hub that shares airspace with military and government flights. It has been revealed that an American Airlines Bombardier Jet carrying 60 passengers and four crew members collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter with a crew of three before crashing into the Potomac River while preparing to land at the East Coast hub Wednesday evening. As a result, all 67 people on board the two aircraft were killed in this crash. In this accident, the flight was descending into Washington, and it suddenly pulled up and began holding due to VIP movement, the pilot explained over the intercom.

Study the New Rules Around the Marine One Airspace:

The impact of the destruction was enough on the ground, and American Airlines staff scrambled to help passengers who missed connections or car reservations. Most passengers created a massive panic and feared missing their flight at the same airport.  On February 14, a week after the new rule came into force, Trump left the House on the first of his trips to Florida. During that time, roughly 30 airlines were bound to keep circling the sky and ultimately diverted, according to the new report posted by the latest report in Washington, DC. The airport has also faced massive congestion, and some lawmakers say it is the most significant cause of concern in applying security.
